Bosch dishwasher error code e25 informs the user that there is garbage in the dishwasher system. Namely: drain pump problems or the drain pipe blockage.
The problem with the pump can be connected with the impeller locking, caused by foreign objects. They could get into the drain pump while washing dishes.
Foreign objects:

- pieces of napkins;
- toothpicks;
- shards of dishes.
Even if you clean the plates of food residues carefully, anyway the fatty filter clogging may occur. If the dishwasher is not cleaned periodically by special means, the fat from the appliances accumulates in the drain system. As a result, it clogs the drainage filter, hoses, and branch pipes.

How to fix error code E25
Filter
The first thing to do when an e25 error occurs is to check the filter inside the dishwasher and the pump impeller. If the code appeared during the dishwashing, prepare for the fact that there may be too much water on the floor.
- Disconnect the drain hose from the dishwasher body and put it down into the container to drain the remaining water.
- Pull out the bottom basket for the dishes.
- After accessing the drain filter, unscrew it, as well as the metal mesh that is located behind it.
- Rinse the filter under running water.
- The impeller of the drain pump is placed behind the filter.

- Try to turn the impeller with your fingers or any subject. If the impeller does not turn, then something is blocking it.
Be careful, a small sharp piece of dishes or glass can block the impeller and injure you.
Drain pump
If cleaning the filter did not help, or you were unable to free the impeller of the pump from clogging, then proceed to disassemble the dishwasher. To do this, you need to turn the dishwasher upside down and gain access to the unit of circulation and drainage of water.
