Blackmagic Ultrastudio Express Driver Download

I recently bought the ultrastudio pro and tried to set it up. I got a fresh instal of windows 7, ran windows update. installed all the drivers for my motherboard (msi z77a-GD65) and installed the latest version of blackmagic Desktop video (v 9.7.7). when I plug it in it shows up as a device in the blackmagic media express but there is no video. Ive tried the sdi in port and the hdmi in port with several devices. No matter what there is no video. I tried tweeking the settings in the blackmagic control panel as well.
